Headteacher's welcome
Thank you for visiting our website. Elmsworth Academy is a school where every young person is known as an individual, encouraged to aim high and supported every step of the way.
We are proud of our students' excellent results, and just as proud of the people they become: kind, courageous and ready to make a positive difference. Whether your child is about to join us in Year 7 or is already part of our school family, we look forward to working in partnership with you.

Our vision is simple: every Elmsworth student leaves us with the knowledge, character and confidence to thrive in whatever comes next. Three values shape everything we do.
We aim high in every lesson and believe every student can achieve excellence, whatever their starting point.
We treat everyone with respect, look out for one another and celebrate the differences that make our community strong.
We try new things, learn from our mistakes and stand up for what is right, even when it is hard.

Inspection and performance
Our latest Ofsted report card and GCSE results show a school where students achieve well and are safe, happy and well cared for.
Inspected 10 and 11 February 2026
“Pupils are proud of their school. They talk warmly about how well staff know them and how much they are helped to succeed.”
Report cards grade each area on a five-point scale, from urgent improvement to exceptional. Expected standard means a school is doing everything it should.
Compared with the average for England
England averages are for all state-funded schools in 2025/26. Progress 8 is not published for 2025 or 2026 because these students could not sit Key Stage 2 tests during the pandemic. Our most recent Progress 8 score, from 2024, was +0.38.
