Class of 2026 return for our presentation evening

Former Year 11 students came back to collect their GCSE certificates and celebrate their achievements with families, staff and special guests.

It was wonderful to welcome back our Class of 2026 on Wednesday evening as they collected their GCSE certificates and celebrated a remarkable set of results.

More than 200 former students returned, many now studying at sixth forms and colleges across the area or starting apprenticeships. Families joined us in the Main Hall for an evening of awards, music from our Year 8 jazz band and plenty of happy reunions.

Award winners

  • Headteacher’s Award for Excellence: Amara Okafor
  • Outstanding Progress Award: Jacob Wright
  • Contribution to School Life: Priya Nair
  • Community Spirit Award: Tom Hughes

Our guest speaker, former Elmsworth student Dr Hannah Cole, spoke about her journey from Year 7 to working as an NHS paediatrician and encouraged everyone to stay curious and keep asking questions.

Former students who were unable to attend can collect their certificates from reception during school hours. Please bring photo ID.
